The working principle of the mechanical type pneumatic conveying system is the air(or gas) mixes with the loose, solid materials in th specially designed mechanical loading machine, and thus to establish the positive-pressure pneumatic conveying system. This system is operated under the condition of high pressure and low gas-solid ratio. The discharging mouth of the charger is similar to the above positive pressure system with small size of conveying pipe diameter.Therefore, the filter size are smaller accordingly.The purging type rotary feeder is described below.
The purging type rotary feeder
The purging type rotary feeder is used in the medium pressure system of mechanical loading equipment. It is basically no discharging port at the bottom of the rotor blades feeder, but the plate in both sides downward has a solid mixture of gas and air inlet below exports. Compressed air are blown from the shell blurbs directly into the pipeline together with the solid material. The material tank formed by the impeller is filled with the falling material from the feeding hopper. The impeller rotates the material into the air. The air will blow the solid materials from the material slot into the pipeline. This system is only used in the flour and clay type material. Its operating pressure is commonly 140 KP.
