According to the intensity of particles in the pipeline, pneumatic conveying is divided into:
1. The negative-pressure conveying: The internal pressure is lower than the atmospheric pressure, self-priming feeding, but it must discharge under negative pressure.The conveying distance is short. Advantages: less equipment investment and small load.Disadvantage: high flow speed, severe pipe wear and if a wear appeals,its leaks could not be seen.
2. The dilute phase conveying: solid content is low,1-10 kg/m3; operating gas velocity is higher (about 18 ~ 30 m/s), conveying distance is basically within 300 m. Now for mature equipment material sealing pump, the transport operation is simple and no mechanical moving parts.The delivery pressure is low. Free maintenance.
3. The dense phase conveying means solid content at10 - 30 kg/m3 or the solid-gas ratio is greater than 25 conveying process.The operating gas velocity is low and it is delivered under higher pressure.Now the conveying distance of the mature pump equipment storehouse can reach above 500 m, which is suitable for long distance transportation, but this device has many valves and has many pneumatic, electric devices.Its delivery pressure is high.All pipes need wear-resisting material.Intermittent aeration tank dense phase conveying.Is adding particles partial pressure tank, blowing and ventilation and stay inside the tank, When it reaches at a certain pressure, open the discharging valve and blow the granular material into the pipeline and transport them.
